Job summary

Haldor Topsoe is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in our Hardware Technology team to support sale, service, and installation of hardware projects for downstream and new energy applications in North and South America, primarily the U.S. The role requires strong stakeholder management, safety, and ethics alongside client-facing responsibilities.

You will advise clients during construction or turnaround phases, oversee installation tasks, and solve design and scheduling challenges while collaborating

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to work independently with a self-motivated approach.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%.
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor, SAP, and Salesforce preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients during construction or turnaround phases.
• Oversee installation tasks and make onsite decisions.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and vendors to resolve scheduling challenges.
• Manage non-conformance reports and review 3D models.
• Perform mechanical calculations and organize shop inspections.
