Job summary

CMTA is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for our Boston, Framingham, and Waltham offices. You will lead the mechanical design of energy‑efficient buildings and collaborate with clients and a team of engineers through all project phases.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in consulting engineering, holds an EIT or PE, and excels in project management, HVAC/MEP design, and client interfacing. Base salary is $130k–$150k with eligibility for an annual bonus. Onsite roles tracked as #LI-Onsite.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a mechanical engineer.
• EIT or PE Certification.
• Experience with MEP design and Revit/AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects and design HVAC, plumbing, and energy systems.
• Read blueprints and attend meetings with owners/architects.
• Provide guidance on energy-efficient designs for projects.
• Review submittals for conformance with contract documents.
