CMTA, a Legence Company, seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years of consulting experience to join our Boston, Framingham, and Waltham offices. You will design mechanical systems for energy-efficient buildings and collaborate with clients across project phases.

Ideal candidates hold a PE or EIT, strong project management skills, and hands-on MEP design experience with AutoCAD and Revit. Competitive pay and robust benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a mechanical engineer
• Professional certification (EIT or PE) preferred
• Experience managing mechanical design projects
• Interfacing with clients and project teams
• MEP design experience for building systems
• Familiarity with heating/cooling plant design

Responsabilités

• Manage projects and design HVAC/R systems for energy‑efficient buildings
• Collaborate with owners, architects, and other engineers on design and construction
• Provide guidance on energy efficient designs and technical solutions
• Review submittals and ensure conformance with contract documents
• Coordinate with staff engineers to implement design and resolve issues
• Research and analyze design proposals for feasibility and cost
• Specify system components to meet performance specifications
• Support proposal development and client communication
