Job summary

CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design HVAC/MEP systems for energy efficient buildings in the Boston, Framingham, and Waltham offices. The role involves leading projects, interfacing with clients, and delivering integrated mechanical designs across all phases.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in consulting engineering, a PE or EIT, and expertise in Revit/AutoCAD. Base salary ranges with bonus eligibility are offered.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a mechanical engineer.
• Experience interfacing with clients and leading projects.
• Strong knowledge of energy efficient HVAC systems and MEP design.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD for BIM coordination.
• EIT or PE certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of heating, cooling, ventilation, and plumbing systems for energy efficient buildings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, and other engineers on project goals.
• Review submittals to ensure conformance with contract documents.
• Provide guidance on energy efficient design approaches.
