Job summary
CMTA, a Legence Company, in Framingham, MA, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer with 8+ years in consulting engineering to design energy-efficient building electrical systems and lead multidisciplinary project teams. You will manage design and construction projects, mentor staff, and engage with clients to deliver high-performance facilities in healthcare, higher education, and K-12 sectors.
The role requires leadership, self-motivation, and a client-focused attitude, with expertise in power
Qualifications
- 10+ years MEP design experience.
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering required.
- Massachusetts PE license required.
- Project management experience (internal/external).
- MEP design and specifications knowledge.
- Client & Architect relationship management skills.
- Experience in Healthcare, Higher Education, K-12, Commercial sectors.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical system design (power distribution, lighting, controls, emergency power, UPS, renewable energy, fire alarm, low-voltage, etc.).
- Manage internal/external design and construction projects.
- Prepare/interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate with owners, clients, architects, and contractors.
- Participate in business development activities.
- Mentor and guide staff.
