Job summary

CMTA, a Legence company, seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design and manage energy-efficient mechanical systems for buildings across our Boston, Framingham, and Waltham offices. You will lead project teams, field client interactions, and guide engineers through all project phases.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in consulting engineering, EIT or PE certification, and strong proficiency in MEP design with Revit/AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a mechanical engineer.
• EIT or PE certification is preferred.
• Experience in project management and client interfacing.
• Experience with cooling and heating plants and MEP design.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD for design development.
• Ability to read blueprints and coordinate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects for heating, cooling, ventilation, and plumbing systems.
• Design energy-efficient building mechanical systems for bids and construction.
• Review submittals and ensure conformance with documents.
• Coordinate with owners, clients, and architects.
• Provide guidance on energy-efficient design strategies.
