Job summary

Osborn Engineering is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with 10–20 years of design and project management experience for our Detroit and Grand Rapids offices. You will lead HVAC design, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and drive projects from SD through DD with a focus on healthcare, commercial, and institutional facilities.

Qualifications

• 10–20 years of Mechanical Design Experience in Consulting Engineering.
• Excellent Organizational and Communication skills.
• Proactive and Collaborative team member.
• Ability to work and manage several project teams concurrently.
• Experience in Healthcare, Commercial, Public Sector, Industrial, Education, and/or Institutional projects.
• Working knowledge of Revit.
• PE License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Project and Client management.
• Preparation of proposals and administering project contracts.
• Understand work planning and manage the design process to the available hours in the work plan.
• Supervise staff or self-Perform the following: HVAC design and documentation.
• Coordinate with other disciplines for all HVAC details.
• Meet with vendors and contractors during the bid phase.
