Job summary

Osborn Engineering seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer / Project Manager for our Detroit office. You will direct electrical design execution, manage client relations, and lead multiple project teams across healthcare, commercial, and public sector projects.

The role requires 10–15 years of experience, strong knowledge of NEC and design software, and the ability to coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams. PE preferred; employee ownership and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of electrical design and project management in a consulting engineering environment.
• Experience with private and public sector clients.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, energy codes, NFPA guidelines, and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and client management for projects.
• Prepare proposals and administer project contracts.
• Supervise staff and perform design calculations and one-line diagrams.
• Coordinate with architects and other disciplines for power needs and distribution.
• Provide cost opinions and perform construction administration.
