Job summary

Osborn Engineering is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer / Project Manager for our Detroit office. The role calls for 10–15 years of electrical design and project management experience, leading design execution and client relations across healthcare, commercial, and institutional projects.

The ideal candidate will manage design teams, prepare proposals, and coordinate with architects and other disciplines, ensuring schedules and budgets are met while maintaining quality. PE license preferred.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of electrical design and project management experience in consulting engineering.
• Proficiency with design and analysis software (Revit, AutoCAD, SKM, ETAP, Easypower).
• Strong knowledge of NEC, State Energy Code, NFPA guidelines and NPFA 70E basics.

Responsibilities

• Project and client management, overseeing electrical design execution.
• Prepare proposals and administer project contracts, including Add Service Agreements.
• Coordinate with engineers and architects to size electrical distribution and select equipment.
• Perform design calculations, develop one-line diagrams, and review submittals.
