Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5+ years of experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience with mechanical design, development and production for military environments.
• Experience creating, releasing and updating mechanical technical data packages.
• Experience reviewing and interpreting technical documentation in production.
• Experience with ANSI/ASME Y14.5 GD&T and tolerance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and document components and sub-assemblies for tactical radar systems and equipment per requirements.
• Assist factory and suppliers with product development, obsolescence, troubleshooting domestically and internationally.
• Interface with engineering disciplines and suppliers to develop design solutions and resolve issues.
• Work with limited supervision to meet schedule, cost, and technical goals.
• Support design peer reviews, close action items, and conduct trade studies.
• Support updates of technical data packages and variances.
• Collaborate on First Article Inspection (FAI) with QA support.
• Utilize Raytheon hardware tools and processes.
