Job summary

RTX is seeking a highly skilled mechanical engineer to design and integrate radar hardware for military programs. You will lead small teams, perform tolerance analyses, and collaborate with cross-functional groups across locations to ensure design integrity and timely delivery. The role requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, hands-on CAD skills (CREO), and the ability to obtain a U.S.

government security clearance. Candidates must be U.S.

Qualifications

Typically requires a STEM-degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
Experience in mechanical design, tooling processes, and hardware development.
Experience creating, reviewing, and interpreting engineering drawings in 3D CAD.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Develop innovative technical solutions across proposal, development, design, cooling, manufacturing, integration, and testing of radar hardware.
Perform tolerance analyses to ensure form, fit, and function.
Lead small teams in a fast-paced environment with ruggedized structures and interconnects.
Support product integration across domestic and international factories and supplier locations.
