Job summary

RTX's Airborne Sensor RF Design Department in McKinney, TX is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to perform mechanical design and documentation of electro-mechanical assemblies. You will coordinate with multi-functional design groups and support the local manufacturing facility.

Requirements include a ABET-accredited degree in Mechanical/Aerospace, 5+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years, proficiency with PTC Creo Parametric, and the ability to obtain a DoD security

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited mechanical/aerospace degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in PTC Creo Parametric for 3D modeling and 2D drawings.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Follow established procedures with program leadership to meet design and production goals.
• Proficient in PTC Creo Parametric or equivalent CAD tools.
• Apply GD&T principles to design documentation and fabrication.
• Design and document electro-mechanical assemblies; coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Support McKinney, TX manufacturing and travel up to 10%.
• Coordinate with IPTL, Supply Chain, and external personnel.
