Job summary

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 5+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience with design, development, and production of mechanical hardware, preferably for military environments.
• Experience in developing, releasing, and updating mechanical technical data packages.
• Experience in reviewing and interpreting technical documentation in a production environment.
• Experience with GD&T (Y14.5) and tolerance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical design, development, and documentation for tactical radar systems and equipment.
• Support factory and suppliers with product development and obsolescence resolution.
• Interface with other engineering disciplines and suppliers to develop solutions.
• Work with limited supervision to meet schedule, cost, and technical goals.
• Participate in design peer reviews and conduct trade studies to inform decisions.
• Support updates to technical data packages and variances.
• Knowledge of First Article Inspection (FAI) and Raytheon Source Inspection (RSI).
• Utilize Raytheon hardware tools and processes.
