Job summary

Bowman is seeking a Mechanical Engineer III to join our Rogers, AR team. The role involves designing complex mechanical systems, developing construction documents, and leading projects from concept through completion.

You will mentor junior staff, interact with clients, and oversee designs in alignment with codes and budget constraints. Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's in mechanical or architectural engineering, 5+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD and REVIT; PE or

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or architectural engineering is required.
• 5+ years of relevant design experience on industrial, multi-family, commercial, government, academic, or R&D projects.
• Knowledge of plumbing and fire protection systems is a plus.
• Experience with AutoCAD, REVIT, CHVAC/RHVAC, TraneTrace, or eQuest modeling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design complex mechanical systems in accordance with current codes and sound engineering principles.
• Create construction documents including ductwork, piping, equipment schedules, and notes.
• Oversee designs through project construction/completion and coordinate with clients.
• Mentor Design Engineers and junior staff and represent the project team in client communications.
• Conduct field observations to document conditions and report progress.
• Assist in developing construction cost estimates for mechanical systems.
