Job summary

Bowman Company in Westminster, CO is seeking a Mechanical Engineer III to design complex mechanical systems and develop construction documents for diverse projects. You will lead project teams and mentor engineers, coordinating with clients to ensure high-quality results.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's in mechanical engineering, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit. PE license and EIT/LEED preferred; knowledge of plumbing and fire protection is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required.
• 5+ years of relevant design experience.
• Knowledge of plumbing and fire protection systems a plus.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, REVIT, CHVAC/RHVAC, TraneTrace and/or eQuest.

Responsibilities

• Design complex mechanical systems per code and engineering principles.
• Create construction documents and detailed layouts.
• Lead project teams and mentor Design Engineers.
• Coordinate with clients, project managers and stakeholders.
• Attend design meetings and manage budget estimates.
