Job summary

Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. in Rogers, AR is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to design mechanical systems and develop construction documents for diverse projects. The role includes collaboration with engineers and project managers, field verifications, and clear communication with clients.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of relevant design experience and is proficient with AutoCAD, REVIT, and HVAC modeling tools; EIT/LEED are preferred and PE licensure is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or architectural Engineering required.
• 3+ years of relevant industry-related design experience across commercial/government/academic/R&D/high-rise/multi-family/industrial projects.
• Knowledgeable of AutoCAD, REVIT, CHVAC/RHVAC, Trane Trace and/or eQuest modeling software.
• EIT and LEED accreditation strongly preferred.
• Desire/plan to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems in accordance with current code requirements and sound engineering principles; handle complex tasks within projects.
• Communicate effectively with engineers, project manager, and clients as needed.
• Conduct field observations to document site conditions and verify designs.
• Prepare construction documents and assist with cost estimates for mechanical systems.
• Attend coordination and design meetings and assist with project specifications.
