Job summary

Bowman is seeking an Electrical Engineer III to join our Towson, MD team. The role involves leading electrical design, developing construction documents, and managing project staff within a collaborative environment.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years of relevant experience, and knowledge of AutoCAD, REVIT, SKM, and lighting design tools. PE license is preferred; EIT/LEED credits are advantageous. Bowman's benefits support growth and stability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Five or more (5+) years of industry-related experience, in design of industrial, commercial, government, academic, R&D, multi-family (low- and high-rise), and similar projects.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and REVIT software, SKM software tools, and/or Lighting Design software (i.e. AGI, Visual, etc.).
• EIT and LEED accreditation.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design of complex electrical systems in accordance with current code requirements and sound engineering principles.
• Create reports such as basis of designs, written narratives, field observations, letters to AHJs, etc.
• Oversee designs through project construction/completion.
• Coordinate with clients, project managers, and engineers.
• Conduct field observations to document conditions and progress.
