Job summary

Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. in Westminster, CO seeks a Mechanical Engineer III to design complex mechanical systems and manage project teams. You’ll develop construction documents, review drawings, and coordinate with clients and engineers to meet milestones.

The role requires a Bachelor's in mechanical or architectural engineering, 5+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit. PE or LEED preferred; EIT encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering.
• Five or more years of relevant industry experience in design of diverse projects.
• Knowledge of plumbing and fire protection systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, REVIT, CHVAC/RHVAC, TraneTrace, and/or eQuest modeling software.
• EIT and LEED accreditation strongly preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design complex mechanical systems in accordance with current code requirements and sound engineering principles.
• Create construction documents and drawings and oversee designs through project construction.
• Mentor Design Engineers and less experienced Project Engineers.
• Actively market the firm’s capabilities to establish new clients and enhance relationships with existing clients.
• Represent project team in client communications and resolutions.
