Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Roy, UT is seeking a Mechanical Engineer or Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our team supporting the Sentinel program. You will design and develop mechanical systems, create CAD models with Siemens NX, and collaborate with customers and engineers to deliver high-performance solutions for aerospace hardware.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance, 2+ years NX experience, and the ability to work across design, fabrication, testing, and deployment stages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 2+ years of relevant experience for Mechanical Engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5+ years of relevant experience; or Master’s with 3+ years for Principal level.
• Active U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance required within scope.
• 2+ years CAD modeling experience (Siemens NX preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve as mechanical designer for systems on a major defense program.
• Develop CAD models and 3D drawings using Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
• Verify designs via modeling, simulation, and test data analysis.
• Support lifecycle stages from design through maintenance and deployment.
