Qualifications

• BS in mechanical engineering
• 7+ years designing HVAC systems for institutional and commercial buildings
• Experience leading project teams
• PE license preferred

Responsibilities

• Run mechanical design from feasibility to construction administration
• Design heating and cooling plants and distribution systems
• Design air-side systems and humidity control
• Build and check load calculations and energy models
• Write control sequences and building automation strategy
• Lead decarbonization and electrification studies
• Carry mechanical scope for LEED, Passive House, Living Building, or WELL
• Review engineers' and designers' work and mentor staff
• Coordinate with architects, owners, utilities, and contractors
• Represent the mechanical discipline in client meetings and design reviews
