Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for our Buildings team to contribute to HVAC design on diverse projects in the Phoenix area. You will assist in evaluating and specifying mechanical systems, perform calculations, and develop drawings using Revit and AutoCAD under supervision.

You will participate in BIM-enabled design, coordinate with architects and engineers, conduct field surveys, support construction administration, and mentor junior staff as needed. 7+ years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering with a mechanical emphasis.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the buildings design industry.
• LEED Green Associate or LEED AP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop full documentation for new construction and renovation projects.
• Use BIM to develop 3D models of mechanical systems.
• Prepare site plans, floor plans, diagrams, and details.
• Coordinate project teams and client stakeholders.
• Mentor junior staff and support project coordination.
