Job summary

LTA Research designs and develops advanced mechanical, thermal, and fluid systems for flight and ground equipment. You will validate system integrations, support manufacturability from design through qualification testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance criteria are met.

The role emphasizes end-to-end design, sizing of thermal management, and fluids routing components, with emphasis on GD&T and reliable manufacturing.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering is required.
• 5+ years in mechanical or aerospace engineering roles.
• Experience with CAD modeling and detailed drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex mechanical, thermal, and fluid systems for flight and ground equipment.
• Validate systems via structural and thermal analyses using classical methods and simulations.
• Create manufacturing drawings with GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
• Interface with cross‑functional teams to verify requirements and performance.
