Job summary

LMK Recruiting Solutions is seeking a mechanical engineer to design and integrate mechanical and electromechanical systems for next-generation aircraft. You will own subsystems from sketch to validation and production release, releasing drawings with GD&T and collaborating with suppliers and manufacturing on first articles.

Responsibilities include performing FEA, tolerance analysis, and basic thermal/structural work, with a hands-on lab or production floor mindset.

Qualifications

4+ years developing mechanical products with shipped hardware.
BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field (equivalent hands-on experience counts).
Working knowledge of GD&T and drawing release practices.
Familiarity with sheet metal, die casting, precision machining, and injection molding.
Exposure to inspection, quality fundamentals, and basic SPC.

Responsibilities

Design and integrate mechanical and electromechanical systems for next-generation aircraft.
Own parts and subassemblies from concept to validation and production release.
Release production-ready drawings with correct GD&T and ensure manufacturability.
Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing floor on first-article builds.
Run FEA, tolerance stack-ups, and basic thermal/structural analysis.
