Job summary

Meade is seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer III to join our mechanical design team. You will work on data centers, industrial buildings, and office projects, collaborating with clients, vendors, and internal disciplines to deliver integrated HVAC and plumbing designs.

Responsibilities include Revit-based layouts, load calculations, equipment selection, and ensuring code compliance. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in MEP mechanical design.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with HVAC design software (AutoCAD, Revit, load calculations).
• Familiarity with HVAC codes and standards; strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical and plumbing design in Revit for data centers, industrial buildings, and offices.
• Create HVAC/piping layouts, including equipment placement and ductwork.
• Perform load calculations and optimize system performance.
• Coordinate with architects and other disciplines for integrated designs.
• Draft equipment specifications and select components with cost/energy efficiency in mind.
• Review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and assist with site visits and commissioning.
