Job summary

Meade is a full-service design firm seeking a Mechanical Designer III to join our mechanical design team. The role covers data centers, industrial buildings, offices, and other high-profile projects, requiring collaboration with clients, vendors, and external disciplines.

You will design and document mechanical and plumbing systems in Revit, develop HVAC layouts, and perform load calculations to optimize performance while ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in MEP mechanical design.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Proficient with HVAC design software (AutoCAD, Revit, load software).
• Familiarity with HVAC codes, standards, and best practices.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support design and documentation of mechanical and plumbing systems using Revit for data centers, industrial buildings, and offices.
• Develop detailed HVAC and plumbing layouts within Revit, including ductwork and piping.
• Perform engineering calculations for load analysis, equipment sizing, and system performance.
• Coordinate with architects and engineers to ensure integration within Revit models.
• Review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and assist with record drawings and site visits.
