Job summary

Meade is a full-service design firm seeking a Mechanical Designer III to join our mechanical design team on data centers, industrial buildings, offices, and other high-profile projects.

Responsibilities include Revit-based design, HVAC layout, equipment selection, and coordination with architects and engineers to ensure integrated, code-compliant solutions. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in MEP mechanical design.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• HVAC design software proficiency (AutoCAD, Revit, load software).
• Familiarity with HVAC codes and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and documentation of mechanical and plumbing systems using Revit for data centers, industrial buildings, and offices.
• Develop detailed HVAC and plumbing layouts within Revit, including ductwork, piping, and equipment placement.
• Perform engineering calculations for load analysis, equipment sizing, and system performance optimization.
