Re:Build Manufacturing in Rochester and Rush, NY, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer to lead the design of skid-mounted and modular equipment. You will develop 3D models and 2D drawings in SolidWorks and AutoCAD, while balancing function, manufacturability, safety and cost.

You will work closely with engineering and fabrication teams, mentor junior designers, and support proposals and estimates. Occasional travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of mechanical design or equipment design experience in industrial/manufacturing environments
• Advanced proficiency in 3D/2D modelling with SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Experience designing equipment, frames, weldments or assemblies from drawings
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, tolerances, fabrication methods

Aufgaben

• Lead mechanical design of custom equipment and modular systems from concept to release for fabrication
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Produce general arrangement drawings and bills of materials
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop integrated equipment and system designs
• Mentor junior designers and lead technical design activities
• Support project planning, proposals, and estimates
