Re:Build Manufacturing in Rochester and Rush, NY is seeking a detail-oriented Process & Mechanical Drafter to turn 3D models into fabrication-ready drawings for skid-based systems and containerized equipment. You'll collaborate with Senior Designers and engineers to support design through production.

You bring 2–5 years of drafting experience, solid CAD skills (SolidWorks, AutoCAD Plant 3D), and a good grasp of GD&T and manufacturing drawings.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of mechanical or process piping drafting experience.
• Strong CAD skills with SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD Plant 3D or AutoCAD 3D.
• Knowledge of manufacturing drawings, GD&T, and dimensioning standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D manufacturing and assembly drawings from 3D models, applying drafting standards and GD&T.
• Support Senior Designers with 3D modeling, mechanical detailing, process piping, and equipment layouts.
• Create and maintain bills of materials (BOMs), ECNs, and technical drawing packages.
• Collaborate with mechanical, structural, electrical, and controls teams to meet project requirements.
• Work with fabrication and field teams to resolve drawing questions and improve manufacturability.
• Contribute to project proposals, estimates, technical reviews, and design deliverables.
• Improve drafting standards, workflows, and tools to increase efficiency and quality.
