Job summary

Gradian Thermal Solutions seeks a Senior Designer, Mechanical, to create 3D models and drawings for HVAC systems. You will guide design projects, ensure manufacturability, and support documentation for manufacturing and assembly in fast‑paced environments.

You will mentor junior designers, collaborate across engineering and production, and help refine production methodologies and installation documentation.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks and modeling complex assemblies.
• Strong 2D CAD skills for manufacturing drawings and documentation.
• 7+ years of progressive mechanical design experience in HVAC/sheet metal environments.
• Understanding of manufacturing practices and collaboration with fabrication teams.
• Experience mentoring junior designers and leading design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead creation of complex 3D models of HVAC equipment and components.
• Drive sheet metal design and set modeling standards.
• Approve full manufacturing packages with drawings and BOMs.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and cross‑functional teams.
