Job summary

RTX’s Hardware Mechanical Engineering team seeks a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the mechanical hardware design, development, and integration of complex defense systems. Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years experience.
• Experience interpreting technical documentation for hardware development/production.
• Experience in mechanical design, development, manufacturing or tooling processes, or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical hardware and support product integration across domestic/intl sites.
• Lead small teams and mentor engineers in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform design reviews, trade studies and release processes to ensure compliant, manufacturable solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and meet schedules.
