Job summary

RTX is seeking a senior hardware program leader to drive the architecture, design, integration, and testing of mechanical hardware for a high-priority defense program.

You will oversee EVMS as CAM for multiple contracts, proactively manage risks, and lead failure investigations while coordinating with government customers and leadership. Validating performance and ensuring timely execution will be essential.

Qualifications

• Typically requires STEM degree and 10+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree with 7+ years.
• 10 years in mechanical product design, integration, and production support.
• Minimum 1 year EVMS and CAM experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to engineering teams for hardware programs.
• Oversee EVMS and act as CAM for multiple accounts across contracts.
• Lead risk management and optimization across contracts.
• Lead failure investigations and resolve hardware anomalies.
• Communicate program status to leadership and customers.
• Occasional travel to labs, suppliers, or field sites.
