Job summary

RTX is seeking an Air Defense Ground Equipment Mechanical Design Engineer to advance mechanical designs for radar shelters, launchers, and subsystems. You will model components, update drawings, and ensure proper release documentation as part of a cross‑functional team.

You will utilize CREO, PDM, Adobe, and MS Office to support program execution, maintain configurations, and contribute to design reviews in a defense environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field by start date.
• Experience with 3D CAD/design tools such as SolidWorks, CREO, or Siemens NX.
• On‑the‑job experience, internship, or coursework in engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical design, development, and integration of defense platform systems.
• Create and maintain 3D models, assemblies, and engineering docs using RTX tools.
• Assist with engineering changes, drawings, and release processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support program execution.
• Contribute to design reviews and technical analyses as needed.
• Apply RTX engineering processes, standards, and configuration management.
• Work hands‑on with CREO, PDM, Adobe, and MS Office tools.
