Job summary

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Senior Mechanical Construction Executive to oversee large-scale, technically complex construction projects from planning through turnover. You will direct mechanical scopes across healthcare, life sciences, higher education, and manufacturing environments while reporting to executive leadership.

The role requires 10+ years of project management experience, a strong budgeting background, and a proven track record managing $20M–$250M projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive mechanical construction project experience.
• 5+ years leading large commercial or industrial programs.
• Strong budgeting, preconstruction planning, value engineering, and design collaboration.
• Proven track record managing projects valued between $20M and $250M.
• Experience in healthcare facilities, life sciences, higher education, advanced technology, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related technical discipline preferred.
• Familiarity with occupied renovation environments and critical infrastructure projects is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of project delivery, from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.
• Direct project teams to meet milestones, safety objectives, and quality standards.
• Partner with design consultants, owners, and subcontractors to resolve technical and operational challenges.
• Monitor labor performance, productivity metrics, and workforce planning.
• Manage contract administration, change management, procurement activities, and risk mitigation efforts.
• Conduct regular financial reviews and maintain profitability and cash flow.
• Mentor project managers, engineers, and support staff while promoting professional development.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and site-specific safety protocols.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business opportunities.
