Job summary

Convergix is seeking a Lead Mechanical Assembly to guide the mechanical team on highly technical projects for diverse clients in the US. You will drive new ideas, oversee assembly, and ensure timely delivery while aligning with safety and quality standards.

The role reports to the VP of Manufacturing, with opportunities to work on state-of-the-art automation solutions and direct interaction with customers. Local travel within US/Canada possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• apprenticeship in related field preferred.
• Basic machine tool operation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Continuously improves processes and delivers quality products.
• Interfaces with build staff and other departments.
• Leads and directs the assembly of assigned projects.
• Maintains a safe work environment.
• Coordinates machine tool operations.
• Troubleshoots and debugs issues.
• Participates in meetings, training, and trains new employees.
• Build, tear down, ship, install, and service equipment.
• Generates reports and researches new projects.
