Job summary

Convergix Automation Solutions seeks a Mechanical Assembly Lead to steer the mechanical build of automation systems from concept through commissioning. You will coordinate sequencing, review designs for manufacturability, and lead the build of complete machine systems—fixtures, tooling, end effectors, and cell layouts—while mentoring technicians and solving field issues.

Qualifications

• Licensed millwright or hands-on technician/engineer with leadership ability.
• Proven experience leading complex machine assemblies and wiring
• Strong pneumatic design, commissioning and troubleshooting skills
• Review drawings for manufacturability and NCR root-cause handling
• Welding and machining fabrication experience; GD&T literacy

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical build of automated systems from concept to commissioning.
• Coach technicians and apprentices and ensure safe, efficient sequencing.
• Review multi-sheet drawings, BOMs, and GD&T; ensure manufacturability.
• Support commissioning; verify pneumatics, motion, and guarding systems.
• Travel globally as project requirements demand.
