Job summary

Convergix Automation Solutions seeks skilled individuals to join our growing automation team. You will contribute to innovative projects and collaborate with a mechanical team to bring state-of-the-art ideas to life.

You should expect to spend time on project-based obstacles, with a focus on delivering reliable, quality automation solutions to our diverse client base. This role reports to the Operations Manager and involves local travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completed apprenticeship in related field is preferred.
• Basic machine tool operation knowledge is required.
• Three (3) years’ experience preferred.
• Ability to travel locally, US and internationally if needed.

Responsibilities

• Continuously improves processes and delivers conforming quality products and services to internal/external customers.
• Interfaces with build staff and other departments.
• Maintains a safe work environment.
• Coordinates machine tool operations.
• Troubleshoots and debugs issues.
• Participates in all required meetings.
• Build, tear down, ship, install, and service equipment.
• Participate in training and train new staff.
• Generates reports.
• Participates in training.
• Mechanical build duties.
• Investigates/researches new projects.
• Other duties as assigned.
