CONVERGIX Automation Solutions, a leading global automation systems integrator, seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead concepts through FAT/SAT with minimal supervision. You’ll mentor engineers, seal design decisions, and ensure robust, safe machine solutions for diverse clients.

The role requires strong cross‑functional collaboration, hands‑on technical mastery, and the ability to travel within US and Canada as needed.

Qualifications

• Significant mechanical engineering experience in a leadership role within a relevant industry – typically 8–10+ years.
• Post‑secondary Degree/Diploma in Engineering from a recognized engineering faculty.
• Demonstrated technical leadership: a portfolio of projects with design analysis, risk assessment and qualification.
• Sound analytical and problem‑solving skills; able to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficient with sanitary design requirements, material selection, tolerance stack up, and component selection.

Responsibilities

• Steer the mechanical direction of projects with input from applications engineer, PM, and cross‑functional team.
• Liaise with customers to understand needs – commercial and technical.
• Communicate clearly to internal teams, executives, and customers.
