Job summary

Transdev in the United States is seeking a Mechanic A Technician to perform routine maintenance on equipment, run tests, and ensure systems meet specifications. You will inspect, repair, and calibrate vehicles and machinery, using a range of hand and power tools to diagnose malfunctions and keep fleets safe and reliable.

This full-time role requires strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to mentor less experienced technicians.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in vehicle and equipment service.
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex systems.
• Ability to teach Mechanic B and C when time permits.

Responsibilities

• Adjust and align brakes, wheels, and suspension systems.
• Inspect brakes, steering, wheel bearings and other critical components.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain pumps and compressors.
