Job summary

Transdev Services is seeking a C Mechanic to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on transit vehicles, ensuring safety and reliability for service. The ideal candidate will have basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and experience in vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks on transit vehicles.
• Conduct minor repairs on vehicles, including replacing belts, hoses, filters, and other components.
• Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
• Follow established maintenance procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other mechanics and team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Use appropriate tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
