Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, agriculture, food science, or a related field and ten or more years of related experience in meat and/or seafood merchandising, procurement, or category management.
• Significant leadership experience in a multi-banner retail environment.
• Multi-banner experience preferred.
• Retail meat department operations or meat cutting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Meat and Seafood category strategies across banners.
• Negotiate with vendors and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and value.
• Develop the Meat and Seafood category budget and monitor performance against goals.
• Ensure inbound/outbound product quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee merchandising, pricing, promotions, and assortment to optimize SKU productivity.
