Job summary

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of market department operations.
• Advanced knowledge of scheduling software systems.
• Advanced knowledge of in-store ordering machine and inventory management processes.
• Ability to lead and motivate others.
• Ability to read and operate digital equipment, meters, dials, and calibrated scales.
• Ability to safely operate department equipment.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing, hiring, training and developing partners; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining partners; and scheduling, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
• Reviews historical data to predict future sales from ads and promotions.
• Manages inventory using item management processes to ensure satisfactory in-stock levels.
• Reviews profit and loss, sales, shrink, and labor data; provides summary to upper management.
• Maintains and improves sales performance, financial results, public relations, product quality, and work standards.
• Checks inventory on trucks, unloads products, and ensures accuracy of inventory.
• Cooks, labels, and packages product and enforces food safety standards.
• Handles product from trimming to display with attention to aroma, texture, and color.
