Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a dedicated meat department associate to keep market and seafood cases full, rotated, and fresh. You will cut, weigh, package, and label products, while promoting exceptional customer service in-store and by phone.

As part of the team, you will work with upper management to train partners, manage schedules, and review sales data to support promotions and inventory control. This role requires adherence to safety standards and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1+ year related experience
• Prerequisite experience as meatcutter, apprentice, or manager trainee preferred
• Food Handler and Manager Food Safety certifications required
• Age 18+; 21+ to drive per policy

Responsibilities

• Train and develop partners; schedule and direct work
• Review historical data on sales, ads, and promotions
• Co-manage inventory to maintain in-stock levels
• Cut, weigh, package, and label meat products
• Enforce food safety and rotate dated products
