Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a Department Manager for the market/meat section. You will lead a team, supervise daily operations, and ensure product quality and safety across displays. Customer service and sales growth are key outcomes.

The role requires hands-on leadership, inventory oversight, and training of Partners to meet Brookshire’s standards while maintaining regulatory compliance and food safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 2+ years related experience or equivalent.
• Prerequisite experience as meatcutter, apprentice, or manager trainee preferred.
• Food Handler and Manager Food Safety certifications required.

Responsabilités

• Interview, hire, train and develop partners; plan and direct work.
• Review historical data to project sales from ads and promotions.
• Maintain product levels, quality, and compliance with safety standards.
• Promote customer service and sales-building initiatives.
