Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) in Tyler, Texas, seeks a seasoned leader to drive Meat and Seafood category strategy across all banners. You will lead partner development, negotiate with suppliers, and coordinate merchandising, pricing, and assortment to meet company initiatives.

The role requires strong leadership, vendor management, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration to improve sales, margins, and product availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, agriculture, food science, or a related field.
• Multi-banner experience preferred.
• Retail meat department operations or meat cutting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic leadership for Meat and Seafood across banners and develop category management partners.
• Negotiate with vendors to procure and distribute quality meat and seafood products.
• Oversee merchandising strategies, pricing, promotions, and assortment across banners.
• Manage budget, forecast, and performance against sales, margin, and shrink targets.
• Build relationships with suppliers and cross-functional teams to achieve growth goals.
