Job summary

Sam's West, Inc. is seeking a Senior Meat Cutter in White Bear Lake, MN to drive area sales and fulfill member needs with quality meat products.

You will cut, slice, grind, and wrap meat, ensure food safety, and help educate associates while maintaining inventory and sanitation standards. You will leverage handheld tools to support production decisions and enhance the customer experience, while acting as a team leader and ambassador for our department and club.

Qualifications

• 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department.
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Willingness to complete trainings and assessments as required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross functional teams to educate associates and maintain customer service.
• Process meat according to specifications, cutting, slicing, grinding, and wrapping while meeting food safety standards.
• Utilize handheld technology to drive sales and improve the shopping experience.
• Drive operational excellence, maintain high quality standards, and assist customers with purchasing decisions.
• Model high-quality service and integrity, mentor others, and adhere to company policies.
