Job summary

Sam’s Club in Fridley, MN is hiring a Senior Meat Cutter to drive meat sales and ensure member satisfaction. You’ll cut, trim, and wrap meat products, maintain inventory and food safety, and use handheld devices to improve operations and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department.

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: Collaborates with cross functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources, communicating effectively and developing interpersonal skills for providing customer service, being flexible to the needs of the business, tracking goods, maintaining in-stock levels and controlling shrinkage.
• Be an Expert: Maintains indepth knowledge of meat products, equipment usage and backroom operations, processing meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping) while ensuring food safety and inventory management.
• Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience, using handheld tech for production decisions and training.
• Be an Owner: Drives business results, maintains a clean work area, ensures quality, assists customers with purchasing decisions and proper packaging.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department, models high-quality service, trains associates, and supports team development.
• Complies with policies and ethics, completes work assignments, communicates progress, and adapts to change.
