Position Summary

As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools and tasks, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain stock levels, and control shrinkage.
• Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment, and backroom operations. Process meat according to specifications, ensure food safety and sanitation compliance, operate and sanitize equipment.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to enhance sales, shopping experience, and associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for business decisions related to production, training, and quality, and encourage others to adopt new tools.
• Be an Owner: Drive business results through operational excellence, profitability planning, maintaining quality standards, reducing waste, securing high-shrink merchandise, assisting members with purchasing, and proper packaging and storage.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing member experience, modeling high-quality service, and assisting in training associates.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity standards, and apply these in business practices.
• Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers and colleagues, prioritizing tasks, communicating progress, and adapting to feedback and change.
