Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service, and be flexible to the needs of the business.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and increase associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, and encourage others to adopt these tools.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean and organized work area, ensuring product quality and standards, minimizing waste, securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise, assisting members with purchasing decisions, and ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience in the meat area, modeling high-quality service, interacting with associates to understand and address roadblocks, and assisting in training.

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $25.00, with actual pay meeting or exceeding the minimum wage in your location. Additional premiums may apply based on specific circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications
- 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department.
- Must be 18 years or older.
