Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
- Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, while encouraging others to adopt these tools.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean work area, and ensuring quality and standards for high-volume meat products. Eliminate waste, secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise, assist members with purchasing decisions, and ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, and executing duties at the highest level. Interact with associates to understand roadblocks and assist in training them.
- Comply with Policies: Follow company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. Implement related action plans, use the Open Door Policy, and apply these in executing business processes.
- Complete Work Assignments: Prioritize tasks using policies, data, and resources. Collaborate with managers, coworkers, and other partners, communicate progress, and adapt to change, feedback, and learning opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications
- 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Meat Processing Area.
