A leading company is seeking a Senior Meat Cutter who will enhance sales and ensure quality in meat processing. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively, maintain food safety standards, and serve customers while contributing to a high-performance culture. As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
Be a Team Member: Collaborates with cross-functional teams, helps educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicates effectively, and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service. Flexibility to the needs of the business, tracking goods, maintaining in-stock levels, and controlling shrinkage.
Be an Expert: Maintains in-depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provides meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping), ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management. Operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment.
Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Utilizes handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, adapting to new tools and encouraging others to use them.
Be an Owner: Ensures operational excellence, plans for profitability, maintains a clean work area, and ensures quality standards for high-volume meat products. Eliminates waste, secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise, assists members with purchasing decisions, and ensures proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and club by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, and executing duties at the highest level. Trains and mentors associates, recognizes contributions, and fosters a culture of high performance.
Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. Implements related action plans, uses the Open Door Policy, and applies these in executing business practices.
Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; identifies priorities and deadlines; communicates progress; and seeks continuous improvement.

6 months’ experience in a fresh production department. Must be 18 or older. Willing to complete required training and assessments.
